"Death Lies Ahead" from Harvey Comics' Witches Tales in 1952 is a pretty standard story for the era. As is often a problem with comics of this era, proving the name of artists and writers is difficult, and this story is no exception. Writer unknown, and the art is likely by Warren Kramer and Abe Simon. This short tale features the Grendel twins, Mab and Wulf, who set out on a spree of murders following their discovery of a supernaturally powered newspaper that tells the future. Crime will not pay for the pair, and other than the names and their willingness to murder, there is no link to the poem.
